Main aims of the project:

To work for the welfare and development of the target child labourers by the way of identifying, rescuing, rehabilitation, reformation, main- streaming and development of the proposed child labourers towards their relucent future.

Project Description:

A ‘’Bridge school” is started in a rented building for 25 Slum children engaged in child labour.  Basic and primary education is conducting to the target SLUM children (8-14 years age) by the way of employing the Teachers in the different subjects following the Government of Andhra Pradesh syllabus. We also giving Mid-day Meal (Nutrition food ) to the target group 25 slum children every day.  As well we will be creating the recreation facilities, games and sports to the children in the evening.

We will conduct bridge classes, give them fundamental intensive coaching for one year according to their various levels and standards. After one year of the programme, we will admit these children in to the local main stream of the government schools into the standard/class which the child suits as 3rd or 4th or 5th class. We will make these eligible children attend to the government studies.  Thus we intend to contribute Millennium Development Goal # 2 (Ensure that, by 2015, children everywhere, boys and girls alike, will be able to complete a full course of primary schooling)
