Description:

In the beginning of October 2009, in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh State, there is unprecedented floods caused by the continued down-pour and torrential rains for one week.  There is heavy loss to the properties of the residents of Kurnool District.  The children also suffered very much with this floods disaster.  The children lost their study materials.

Hence with the grant support of INR. 20,990/- Ontario Teachers Federation, Canada, along with the local contributions of INR.6,510/-, SPREAWS distributed study materials to 50 children of flood victims.
