Main Aims of the project:
The proposed project is designed to educate the women on the protection of their human rights and empower the target women through Awareness training, Advocacy, Motivation, Mobilization and united spirit. The subject matters are various aspects on the women’s Human Rights and Gender equality. (MDG# 3).
Brief project description:
We conduct door-to-door survey campaign in the target areas in the view to find out the women’s problems. We gather all the people to one particular place and explain about the objectives of the project particularly for the development of women. We will form village women Groups by discussing in the above meetings. The active and responsible women will be identified and given Training on leadership, maintenance, development and other aspects of community service. We conducted awareness generation campaigns on protection of women rights Gender Issues in 5 villages. We obtain motivation and mobilization of the target people on the following basical methods.
- Village to Village, Door-to-door campaigns for face to face interactions with the local people,
2.Conducting Public meetings in the villages,
3.Performing Stage demonstrations delivering messages on Gender sensitization,
4.Utilizing local Ad-Media/communication Media, as distribution of pamphlets, other educational material, wall writing, posters, boards, banners, stickers etc.
5.Organizing the Women Rallies exhibiting play cards.
