Project description :
This project aims to improve conditions for the 30 mothers of the child labours and school dropout children by providing income generating source through cooperative vegetables farming so that they can provide their children with opportunities for education and further development. SPREAWS provided these 30 women farmers with a training in proper cultivation and innovative & updated farming methods, co-operative farming principles etc., Then these 30 women formed into 2 Self Help Groups. Now these 2 women groups are working collectively on cooperative vegetables crops raising program. The net profits earned from the selling of farm produces are shared by these SHG members equally after leaving the capital investment for further crops. As result of this project child labourism eradicated, School dropouts reduced, children are getting a nutritious diet and the poor families are now free from the clutches of money lenders.
